Sara Murdoch M.D. FAAP

Sara Murdoch is originally from Medford, Oregon.  Her undergraduate studies were completed at the Universities of Oregon and Southern Oregon College.  She graduated with a BA in Chemistry.  She received her doctorate in Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University.  She completed her internship in Pediatrics at University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin and then her residency at UCLA.  She was chosen for an extra year at UCLA as chief resident.

Dr. Murdoch is board certified in Pediatrics and has been in practice with Pediatric Associates since 1991.  Her areas of special interest are adolescent medicine and endocrinology, with a focus on diabetes.  Some of her community activities have included camp physician at Camp Leo, a camp for kids with diabetes, for 8 years and volunteer physician at the Sexual Assault clinic.  Dr. Murdoch also serves on several hospital committees including primary care committee.  Dr. Murdoch has traveled extensively and has an interest in children's health in under resourced countries, particularly sub-Saharan Africa.

She has two children who are endless sources of entertainment to her.  She enjoys watercolor, music, hiking, biking, and anything involving her kids. 


 

Beth Harvey M.D. FAAP

Dr. Beth Harvey is grateful to have grown up in Olympia and is glad to give back to such a great community.  After graduating from Capital High School, she attended a 6 year combined BA/MD program at the University of Missouri Kansas City where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society.  While in Kansas City she ran cross-country for UMKC and  is proud that she never came in last.  For residency, she moved to Salt Lake City and trained at Primary Children's/ The University of Utah where she indulged in lots of skiing and hiking and received the Resident Service to Children Award.  Following residency, she stayed on as Chief Resident and co-led a community outreach project with Americorps focusing on healthcare access to the Hispanic community.  Luckily, Dr. Harvey was able to move back home to join the practice that cared for her as a child.

Dr. Harvey is past president of the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is on the Board of the Washington Vaccine Association and Best Start Washington.  She spends a lot of her time advocating for children and loves to read, travel, and root for the Seattle Sounders with her husband and son.

Dr. Harvey feels that caring for her patients is like taking care of her own family.  Her favorite part of her job is being a consistent part of children's lives and she feels most proud when her patients actually like to come to the doctor.


 

Lisa Lee M.D. FAAP

Dr. Lisa Lee grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended Stanford University where she graduated in the honors program in History.  She attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago and returned to California to complete her pediatric residency at UC Davis Medical Center where she received the award for excellence in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.  She practiced as a general pediatrician for several years in the Bay Area before moving to Olympia to join Pediatric Associates in 2001.  She has been Board Certified in Pediatrics since 1999 with successful recertification in 2006 and 2013.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and holds a current Washington state and California state medical license.

Dr. Lee enjoys all aspects of pediatrics with special interests in asthma and allergies.  She and her husband live in Olympia with their daughter.  She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her daughter's school, traveling, working out, cooking, and reading.  She has served on the Community Advisory Board for the Junior League and is a Girl Scout Troop Leader.

Dr. Lee feels that it is truly an honor and a privilege to be able to take care of children.  Her patients have made her career in pediatrics so exciting and rewarding.  She feels so grateful that parents have entrusted their children to her to care for their wellbeing and health.  It is exciting to see her patients grow up..... walking, saying their first words, going to school for the first time, and graduating.  It is a journey that she hopes to continue with her patients and their families for many years to come.


 

Beverly Jane Lirio M.D. FAAP

Dr. Beverly Jane Lirio grew up in Manila, Philippines.  She is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.  After graduation from medical school, she worked under the Department of Health as a rural health physician for families.  She then moved to the United States and completed her pediatric residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center - New York University in Staten Island, New York.  She is board certified in Pediatrics and has been in practiced in Las Cruces, New Mexico for 7 years before moving to Olympia and joining Pediatric Associates in 2008.

Dr. Lirio and her husband have three daughters.  Their family enjoys bonding together while traveling, hiking, kayaking, and even dancing!

It gives Dr. Lirio extreme happiness to be a part of every child's life.  She considers her patients her extended family.   She believes that every child is special and enjoys interacting with them from infancy to adolescence.


 

Sylvia Morales-Bronner M.D. FAAP

Dr. Morales was born and raised in Bogata, Colombia.  In 2002, Dr. Morales-Bronner was awarded the title of Medical Surgeon from the National University of Colombia.  She joined Miami Children's Hospital in 2005, as a Resident in Categorical Pediatrics, where she was awarded the 2006 Outstanding Achievement Award in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.  She practiced as a pediatrician in Puyallup, Washington for four and a half years before joining Pediatric Associates in 2013.  Dr Morales is board certified  and a bilingual medical professional.

Dr. Morales currently lives in Yelm, Washington with her husband and her two dogs.  She experiences extraordinary joy in taking care of children and developing long lasting relationships with their families.


 

Sarah Lopez M.D. FAAP

Sarah Lopez is originally from Texas and went to school in California where she graduated with a degree in East Asian Studies.  She worked as a Research Assistant in the Oregon Evidence-based Practice Center prior to attending Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in medicine.  She finished her Pediatric Residency at Tufts Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts and wanted to move back to the forests of the PNW to practice as a pediatrician.  

She joined Pediatric Associates in July 2015 and is a Board Certified Pediatrician.  She enjoys gardening, knitting, running, and hiking in her spare time.


 

Jaime Plewa A.R.N.P.

Jaime Plewa is originally from California.  She graduated from UC Davis in 2000 with a bachelors degree in physiology.  She then moved to New York where she earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Columbia University in 2002.  She returned to the west coast to attend the University of Washington, graduating in 2005 with a Masters of Nursing and becoming a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  She worked for 10 years at a practice in Centralia prior to joining Pediatric Associates in July 2016.  

Jaime lives in Olympia with her husband and four children.


 

Wendy Fairall DNP, ARNP, CPNP-PC

Wendy Fairall is an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP).  She worked as a registered nurse for 10 years before advancing her eduation to become a nurse practitioner.  She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Washington in 2017.  She is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.  Wendy is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and serves on the Immunization Special Interest Group.

As a military spouse, Wendy traveled with her family living in many locations throughout the U.S. and abroad.  Wendy now resides in the PNW with two children, and their family dog, Harding.  They enjoy spending their free time taking advantage of all the beauty and activities the PNW offers!
